A Piece of His Own is an independent curatorial project and is not an official Queen or Freddie Mercury exhibition. It is not sponsored by, supported by or affiliated with Queen Productions Limited, Mercury Songs Limited or Mercury Songs New Holdco Limited. The project is based on curatorial research, collector-owned materials, properly credited photography and a consistent respect for artists, photographers, collectors and rights holders. Rights holders are kept informed, and their guidance is implemented whenever relevant.

Names of artists, groups, public figures, brands, works, events, places and institutions are used only for descriptive, informational, documentary, cultural and historical purposes.

A Piece of His Own pays attention to intellectual property rights, image rights and photographic, artistic and curatorial credits.

When needed, the project contacts rights holders, lenders, photographers or authors in advance to clarify usage conditions, permissions and limitations.

Objects, photographs, documents, videos and other materials shown on the site or in exhibitions may belong to third parties. Their presence does not automatically transfer any rights or licences beyond those granted for the specific project.

Images on the site are used for informational, promotional or documentary purposes. Any unauthorised reuse is prohibited.
