Photographs from Queen’s final tour with Freddie Mercury

Collection: Queen - The Last Tour

Author: Torleif Svensson

When Brian saw this photo at the exhibition in London, he looked surprised. “I don’t have anything in my hand,” he said. “Strange — I always play with a coin.” Not a regular pick, but a British halfpenny, worn smooth from years of use. Another guest, Harry Moriarty, stopped by more than once. He’s a lifelong Queen fan — he saw Freddie live 72 times, and Queen with Adam Lambert another 80. He was even at the final show of the Rhapsody Tour in Tokyo. “Maybe that was the last,” he said. “But you never really stop being a fan.”
