Radio Ga Ga

Photographs from Queen’s final tour with Freddie Mercury

This picture was taken at Råsunda Stadium in Stockholm, the opening concert of The Magic Tour in 1986. In Stockholm, Gary Moore and the Swedish band Treat opened for Queen. The tour across Europe lasted just over two months, with other supporting acts including The Alarm, The Bangles, Big Country, Belouis Some, INXS, Level 42, Marillion, Status Quo, and Zeno. Fun fact: Lady Gaga took her stage name from Queen’s song “Radio Ga Ga.”
