The Millionaire Waltz

Photographs from Queen’s final tour with Freddie Mercury

When I began photographing rock concerts, I could not have imagined where those images would lead decades later. Queen became my first professional assignment, Artvox was founded the year after the tour, and the archive kept growing. What began in the noise and heat of the photographers’ pit eventually became a life in photographic art.
