I'm Going Slightly Mad

Photographs from Queen’s final tour with Freddie Mercury

In 2024, Sony acquired Queen’s entire music catalogue for a record-breaking sum — around one billion pounds, or 13.5 billion Swedish kronor. Later that year, Brian May visited my exhibition in London. I asked him how it felt to let go of it all. “It’s better to get the money now while we’re still alive,” he said. “Now we’ve got time to make new music — while Sony takes care of the old.” I have also been contacted regarding photographs from the Budapest concert, which shows that these images are still part of Queen’s ongoing story.
