Photographs from Queen’s final tour with Freddie Mercury

I had two Nikon F3s and a Hasselblad with me on tour, all loaded with Kodak Ektachrome film. The Hasselblad impressed Brian May, who was both a photography enthusiast and an astrophysicist. He wanted to see the photos every day, so I found processing labs in each city we visited. Often, he would point to a slide and say, “This one’s so good — we must show it to Freddie!” Then we would knock on Freddie’s dressing room door.
