While preparing for my exhibition in London, I also met Kris, a Finnish producer and sound engineer who had worked at Mountain Studios in Montreux, once owned by Queen. In the early 2000s, all the master tapes recorded at the studio were to be transferred to England. Freddie Mercury had loved the studio and Montreux, spending much of his final years there. To make sure nothing was lost during transport, copies were made, and Kris also created some rough mixes of the recorded songs. These mixes turned out so well that he was later hired by Brian May, and he still works with Queen today.
