Photographs from Queen’s final tour with Freddie Mercury

Queen performed two shows at Wembley Stadium on July 11 and 12, 1986. Tickets were in such high demand that an additional UK date was added at Knebworth Park, 47 kilometres north of London, on August 9. Playing before an audience of at least 120,000 people, it became the final concert of the Magic Tour — and Queen’s last show with Freddie Mercury. The night was also marked by tragedy: a young man was fatally stabbed during the concert. There is also the well-known story of a baby being born somewhere in the vast crowd.
