James Brown was a little outside the rock music I most often photographed. More funk and soul, with a band that worked as much with rhythm as with power. He was already The Godfather of Soul when he stood there in Globen. You were almost waiting for I Got You (I Feel Good), that song that had followed him through the decades. In the image he stands still at the microphone. More a pose than an outburst, but that goes quite far when it is James Brown.
