The exhibition

Queen Unseen at Palazzo Guinigi

Queen Unseen | Peter Hince brought an intimate view of Queen and Freddie Mercury to Palazzo Guinigi through rare photographs, original memorabilia, video and editorial materials.

From 3 April to 29 June 2025, Queen Unseen | Peter Hince turned Palazzo Guinigi into an exhibition path dedicated to the memory of Queen and Freddie Mercury. The exhibition brought together rare photographs, video materials, publications, original objects and memorabilia to tell the story of the band from a close perspective, beyond the public image of the legend.

At the centre of the project was the eye of Peter Hince, a historic member of Queen’s road crew and personal equipment manager for Freddie Mercury and John Deacon. His images come from direct access to the band’s life: tours, studio work, backstage moments, video shoots and informal scenes become fragments of a more human story, made of work, energy, complicity and memory.

In Lucca, A Piece of His Own contributed to the exhibition as a financial and production partner, with a particular role in communications, social media and digital promotion, in collaboration with Blu&Blu Network.
