Freddie in Munich

A cultural journey through Munich connecting Queen: The Last Tour, Torleif Svensson’s photographic project about Queen’s final tour with Freddie Mercury, Brian May, Roger Taylor and John Deacon, with places linked to Freddie Mercury’s history in the city.

The project’s main stop is Munich Urban Colab at Freddie-Mercury-Straße 5, where the installation presents photographs from Torleif Svensson’s Queen: The Last Tour. The project tells the story of Queen’s final tour with Freddie Mercury, Brian May, Roger Taylor and John Deacon.

From 5 September to 31 December 2026, the journey continues through Munich, connecting the main exhibition with Petit Bar and Deutsche Eiche, places associated with Freddie Mercury’s history in the city.
